The Blossom Project is based in Vanuatu and helps support those affected by gender-based violence through the Elang Family support Service Centre, which provides a safe space to seek support.
The project is also rolling out the Family Life Education curriculum in high schools.

To support the Project we are having an International Food day at Avondale University Church foyer after church on Sabbath 13th August. We will be celebrating lots of different cultures through the love of food.
Come and support the Blossom Project while filling your tummy.

Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program (DARP) and Optimize Your Brain (OYB) Facilitator Training.
It’s online this year, so distance is not a limit!

Those who have experienced a Nedley Health program, will know it can be life-changing! DAAT tests reveal that some with moderate to severe depression don’t rate as having it by the end of the 8-week DARP program (Depression & Anxiety Recovery program). A number of those attending OYB (Optimize Your Brain) share that they have higher EQ, focus and character strengths than before.

If you would like to facilitate a program in your church community, please register for facilitator training below:

Non-pavement under most of the classrooms in Cambodia can be challenging and difficult for the school children, as they keep getting muddy when playing on it. Having the classrooms paved means that they will have an additional space to use for extra curricula activities and also for playing when it’s hot and raining.

IMPACT ONE is the “power of influence” that Avondale University Church embraced through wider community outreach. Restore one 3 classrooms pavement project will have a significant influence on the children’s environment, which I believe will then have an impact on the children’s learning.

Show your support by clicking donate .

For your information 7% of the donation goes to GDG for admin costs and 93% will go straight into the paving. Everyone who donates through this link will receive tax-deductible receipt.

Thank you for your Support.

Adventurer & Family Camporee in 2022 will be held at Stuarts Point for all Adventurers and Adventurer aged kids (4-9 years) over the North NSW Conference. Other non-Adventurer family members are also welcome to join.

This year the theme is ‘Spread the Word’. Pastor Sean Berkley will be our camp speaker joined by a worship band, and a range of fun activities that will take place over the weekend. All applications received after July 31 will incur a $10 late fee.

If you want to bring family, friends or your neighbours but they’re only able to come for one day, be sure to let them know to contact Stuarts Point to pay in advance for a day pass option to be allowed on the grounds ($3 per person per day). They will also need to register and pay the full Camporee fee prior.

Children aged 0-3 years attend for free. There will be restrictions on what activities they are able to participate in but they will be welcome at all tent worships, talks, songs and entertainment.

Registrations close September 30th.

Media presents the church with significant opportunities to connect with our communities. Whether it be through broadcast media, social media, radio or print, these are all avenues by which we can share the good news of Jesus Christ with a large and unknown viewership as well as our neighbours and friends.

This Media Evangelism offering will provide much needed resources to support the production of short film clips for social media, the broadcast of Hope Channel and provide resources for ministries such as Mums at the Table and the Hope Discovery Centre which works directly with media contacts.

Your generous support will help the church with its mission of engaging, equipping and evangelising through media.

“After a devastating diagnosis at the age of 39, Maureen Maurer was given a second chance at life. Giving up her successful career as a CPA, she took a leap of faith to pursue her childhood dream: teaching dogs to help people with disabilities. In Wonder Dogs, Maureen shares her story of discovering God’s true purpose for her life and the amazing adventure that followed. She also tells the triumphant stories of her beloved dogs and their inspiring partners as they overcome incredible challenges to live life to the fullest. These heartwarming and uplifting accounts show what’s possible when we focus on abilities rather than disabilities. Dog lovers everywhere will enjoy this fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at what goes into selecting and training assistance dogs. Anyone who loves stories about second chances and overcoming challenges will find in Wonder Dogs a whole pack of kindred spirits.” (

The Incredible Journey presents: Florence Nightingale: The Lady With The Lamp

Florence Nightingale was born into a life of wealth and privilege, in an age when women were expected to simply marry, have children, and not do much else. But in response to a call from God, Florence dedicated her life to helping the sick – unheard of in Victorian England. In the Crimean War, she saved countless lives and came back a hero, sought after by royalty and governments around the world. Florence Nightingale dedicated her life to establishing the modern profession of nursing. She was motivated by the teachings of the Bible and her love for God. Her story inspires us to return to the Word of God and challenges us to rediscover God’s purpose for our lives.
